Rec. P.676 – Recommendation dealing with subject which provides the model used in all ITU-R prediction procedures that require an assessment of attenuation due to atmospheric gases.
Rec gives:
an accurate calculation by means of a summation of the individual resonance lines from oxygen and water vapour
formulae for an approximate estimation; these are often used in coordination procedures where a fast simple solution is required, but with sufficient accuracy.
