We started the day with the lecture of Professor Raman about Embedded Wireless Sensors. This kind of sensors uses the 802.15.4 standard to implement their radio links. The sensors are like this:

Then we saw many examples of the uses of these sensors in the field. Like monitoring birds activity without interfering with their environment, monitoring volcano activities, bridge vibration etc.

Descripton

After the Lunch the lab start. Today we do five exercises with the mote. First of all we create the files necessary to write the program and to initialize the mote.
