We began the day with a lecture by Prof. Struzak. The lecture was titled Radio-wave propagation basics.It included these topics

• Propagation.
• Free Space and Fresnel zone.
• Long and short term models.
• Reflection effects

The lecture was started by learning some basic concepts like electromagnetic filed and energy spreading.This was followed by a vivid explanation of the Propagation model.We also learned the basic mechanism of the wave (Reflection , scattering and Absorption.The curtain was drawn for this particular lecture with a wonderful explanation about DTM's model and how to produce it.

The second lecture was given By Marco Zennaro.It was about Link budget calculation, where we had to do a little brainstorming with the mathematics behind the topic.

At last, the class became alive again.Some calculations had to be taken to measure the path loss. We crowned the lecture by learning how to use the Radio Mobile to simulate links. We set up a software to link Galileo Guest House to Mugga.We are about to finish it.
