Today, at the morning Mr. Struzak talked about the "Radipropagation Basic", In his lecture, we knew some basics concepts of the Electromagnetic waves radiopropagations. In the end of his lecture, he show us some simulation of propagation and reflection.

After break, we had a lecture by Mr. Zennaro on "link Budget calculation" He give us de principals definitios of db math. Then we study the caracteristics of the Antenas, the path loss, etc. At the end he performed a link Budget calculation and give us many useful links.
Then Mr. Pietrosemoli peresented a software for wireless link design that called "Radio Mobile".
in the evening Mr. Pietrosemolia simulated a long distance links with this software and asked we do this.
For this work we must connect point to point the Galileo geust house to a place that called Muggia, so we must put the coordinate of these places in Radio Mobile and this software find the map of the selected region in the internet and give us all the link parameters.
This picture is an example of the information that the softwere generate.
It is important to calculate the freznel zone clearance above the obstruction to make sure the radio wave really gets from tr top rx. Also remember two signals arriving at the receiver: the direct signal and the reflected signal. If the two signals are out of phase by 180 degrees you get zero signal etc. Calculate the phase difference and the delay of the reflected ray.
There is also the so called multipath fading associated with reflected signals. Sometimes useful in the so called Non line of sight communication eg Cellular and Adhoic networks in built up areas.
