After a huge discussion on the possibilities we came up with three majors options:

[edit] First option

1 router with 4 NICs attached. One of the ports of this router will be conected to the master router. Two more ports will be used to connect two subnets by using two differet switches.

[edit] Second option

2 routers with 2 ports, each connected to one different switch on one side and the second side to the Master router. We need in this case access to the Master router to enable the routing between both networks. This introduce two points of failure which provide more reliability in the whole network.

[edit] Third option

One 2 ports router attached to the Master router and connected to one of the switches, this switch defines the first LAN. The first switch is connected to the second one through the second router.
