The Vision

The workshop will focus on finding solutions to the communication issues faced by African Islands, such as last-mile connectivity, low speed Internet connections, intermittent energy availability and harsh environmental conditions.

Diversity

20 participants from 10 different African Islands. Lecturers from Europe, America and Asia!

Hands-on

We will cover traditional wireless solutions as well as state-of-the-art technologies, with a strong emphasis on hands-on sessions. Participants will evaluate new technologies, establish scientific collaborations and participate in joint efforts with experts in wireless technologies.
