The day was started as usual at 09:00, with the lecture of Prof. Dr. Struzak aiming to elaborate the emerging technologies of satellite radio, stratosphere, working of satellite radio etc. Prof. Struzak also showed us very interesting movies of tests on Helios and stratospheric satellites. He also told us difference among terrestrial, HAPS and satellite. Further, he gave us web link of Global Aerospace related to stratospheric satellites: http://www.gaerospace.com
Then after the coffee break, Mr. Cauchy introduced the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), and explained its functions, activities and its network (TWNSO, TWOWS, and IAP). He gave his mail address cauchy@ictp.trieste.it , so that if any body interested in the activities of TWAS, can contact him for help.
Following links relating to TWAS and its network were also provided by him:

Mr. Cauchy finished at 10:45 and now it was time for the case studies of participants. This session (Presentations of the case studies) was chaired by Prof. Dr. S. M. Redicella, and Prof. Dr. R. Struzak.
Prof. Redicella also asked the participants, to contact him if any body needs help from ICTP. I think actually he was interested to know, what participants have learned from this school so far and how they will use this knowledge at their home country.
Fourteen case studies were presented. All case studies were from different domains of communications in developing countries like Sudan, Colombia, Nigeria, Peru, Cuba, India, Cote dIvoire, Pakistan, and Venezuela. This was informative session for all of us. It gave opportunity to participants to share their experience of real life applications.
At last, all five groups presented their Lab Reports. All the members of each group came at stage and told about the work done by them so far, in Lab and what they learned. All participants shared their experience particularly that of setting-up the wireless LAN was interesting and enjoyable for all of us.
Eventually, the presentations ended around 19:00.
