- Example of one of the maps from the most recent version of Rec. P.453 showing the refractivity gradient in the first 65 m of the atmosphere. (Figure shows gradients not exceeded for 10% of the year).
- (65 m corresponds to measurement database – as regards propagation effects, studies show this height range suitable for representing super-refractive behaviour from propagation standpoint.)
