Who does the work in the R sector?

WRC’s – already covered

RA – meets usually just before a WRC; main task is to approve programme of work for the ITU-R Study Groups – groups of experts in which ITU-R members participate – more later

RRB – part-time body of 12 members; main task is to approve “rules of procedure” – i.e. how the sector (through its Bureau) will enact its regulatory duties as laid down in the RRs; also deals with difficult cases of harmful interference

Provides technical guidance and assistance to all areas of work undertaken in the Sector; technical secretariat
