www4mail- Usage Statistics
Since Aug 1998, www4mail has been very useful for many people from many different
countries, often receiving over 5,000 requests per day
(~3.5 reqs/min).
www4mail is an instructive example of a technological solution that
directly addresses the disparity in access to information. An
important lesson learnt from www4mail is that high-bandwidth
access to the Internet is not essential in order to bridge the Digital
Divide.
