Overview of the Laboratory Work (2)

During the first phase of the project (basic network infrastructure) the four "Units" of the Campus will be simulated inside the laboratory 

There will be 20 PCs distributed among the four groups (i.e. the "Units"), plus more equipment for common use 

After setup of the Campus Local Area Network a wireless link to an ISP will be implemented (two scenarios) 

Although most activities will need a strong cooperations among the groups, each of them will be a stand-alone working team and everybody will be stimulated to follow directly and personally the activities 

The "tongue" spoken in the laboratory will be a Unix dialet: Linux 

A continuos interaction with instructors will be strongly pushed, to clarify any possible question and help during planning and developing of the project
