What else an OS does ?

  • it takes care of the different processes (tasks managing)

  • it manages the system resources (resources managing)

  • it handles the requests of the user (inputs)

  • it handles the requests of the hardware and of other applications (interrupts)

  • it provide output feature for the applications (user interface)
